WEEK 8 - RIVALRY Game & more

WMU Lacrosse Community,

This Tuesday, April 7 at 6:00 PM, your Western Michigan Broncos take on the Central Michigan Chippewas in a rivalry clash at Waldo Stadium.  It’s another edition of Tuesday night MACtion, except this time on the lacrosse field.

This matchup brings extra intensity as the Broncos and Chippewas meet in a bitter in-state rivalry. 

Adding to the stakes, this will be the Broncos’ final home game of the 2026 season.

The rivalry game is just the start of a very busy week for the Broncos:

On Thursday, April 9 at 7:00 PM, we head to East Lansing for a rescheduled divisional matchup against Michigan State at Spartan Greens Turf Complex.

Then next weekend, we hit the road to Illinois for two more matchups.  On Friday, April 10, we take on Illinois at 7:00 PM (CST) in Champaign-Urbana.  We’ll wrap up the trip on Saturday, April 11, facing Creighton at 4:00 PM (CST).

It’s a packed stretch with four games in five days, so your support means everything as the team pushes through the last four games of the season.
